You see the signs and might run into the candidates if you’re lucky, but do most people know anything about who’s running? I built a site that attempts to describe who each candidate is and what they say they’re going to do with transparent sources behind every fact. I don’t endorse anyone and I’ve tried to ensure the information is laid plain with as little bias as possible.
Start with an issue you care about
See what every candidate has said about it.
Everyone gets the same space. Every candidate gets the same profile layout, listed alphabetically as on the ballot. There are no featured candidates and no rankings.
Every fact has a source. Platform points link to where they came from. If I can’t find a candidate’s platform, I say so and don’t fill the gap.
Records, not opinions. For incumbents I show recorded council votes as they happened, with no scores, grades or labels.
